Members of the Cracow Wind Quintet are the winners of many music competitions. They met in the Cracow Chamber Orchestra - Capella Cracoviensis, co-founding for many years a brass band of universal character. The musicians have performed in numerous chamber concerts with a diverse repertoire, from baroque to contemporary music, they have performed in many important European music centres (Paris, Vienna, Lisbon) and at almost all prestigious music festivals in Poland, meeting with the enthusiasm of the audience and critical acclaim.

Working with pianist Beata Bilińska, the quintet has recorded a CD with works by W. A. Mozart, F. Danzi, G. Ligeti, F. Poulenc, which was nominated for the Fryderyk 2017 award. This artistic acquaintance results in new compositions, which are dedicated to the ensemble. The Cracow Wind Quintet together with Beata Bilińska premiered the sextet Fonoplasticon by Zbigniew Bargielski and the Burlesque by Mikołaj Górecki. Members of the Kraków Wind Quintet also conduct pedagogical activities at the Academy of Music in Kraków and Katowice, as well as at secondary music schools.
