Korjen
Korjen is an international world-music band founded in Prague, which draws inspiration from traditional music throughout Europe, creating its own aesthetics on the border between jazz, breakbeat, hip / hop, drum'n'bass, and rock. Three vocalists: Aida Mujačic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Světlana Sarkisjanová from Slovakia and Ewa Żurakowska from Poland, revive the sound of traditional songs on the stage, and musicians from the Czech Republic: Honza Šikl - drums, Marek Novotný - electric guitar, Milan Mikšiček - bass guitar, add contemporary beats to this magic of folklore. Korjen creates a musical fusion in which there is a note of folk authenticity combined with contemporary avant-garde music.
