The composer and conductor Peter Eötvös (born 2 January 1944) and the chief conductor of the Filharmonie Brno, Dennis Russell Davies (born 16 April 1944), two distinctive personalities of the contemporary musical world, celebrate their 75th birthdays this year. To mark the occasion, the two musicians will come together with the Filharmonie for the final concert of Moravian Autumn. Peter Eötvös conducts pieces by composers who have influenced his work (Mozart and Bartók), while Dennis Russell Davies leads the performance of Peter Eötvös’s compositions. Besední dům will be the venue for this unique birthday party – a celebration that is not to be missed.
