Kontua
Kontua is a dynamic three-member band that blends modern rock/metal with electronic elements and a strong emphasis on high-quality sound. Formed in 2020, the group consists of seasoned musicians from various parts of the Czech Republic, united by their passion for rhythm, melody, and meticulous production.
A hallmark of their music is the use of down-tuned seven-string guitars combined with sophisticated electronic elements, creating a distinctive and recognizable sound. Kontua prides itself on handling every aspect of production — from songwriting, mixing, and mastering to shooting music videos — entirely on their own and at a professional level. This hands-on approach gives their music a unique signature, with every detail under full control.
Their debut EP, titled 12558, was released in English, but their most recent work is exclusively in Czech, which adds a greater sense of authenticity.
