Kodak Black is an American rapper. He first gained fame with the single No Flockin, released in 2014. His debut album Painting Pictures reached #3 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US and included the Billboard Hot 100 hit single Tunnel Vision. Kodak's second album Dying to Live reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Kodak's career has been marked by periods of mainstream success, as well as public controversy and legal issues. His problems began in middle school and escalated significantly in late 2010. In 2019, Black was arrested for weapons possession and sentenced to nearly four years in federal prison. While in prison, he released his third studio album Bill Israel.
