Kciuk Fusion Band
An original project of bass guitar virtuoso and one of the most recognised bass players in Poland. Kciuk Fusion Band performs original material of Tomasz "Kciuk" Jaworski, songs from his previous albums and new compositions and jazz standards in new arrangements. Tomasz "Kciuk" Jaworski belongs to the electric bass elite in Poland. He is one of the most interesting instrumentalists of jazz-rock scene. His calling card is stylistic and genre versatility. For many years he has given concerts in Poland and abroad. He has cooperated with the best musicians in Poland and abroad, including Tomasz Stańko, Hiram Bullock, Tadeusz Nalepa and Czesław Niemen. "Kciuk" is one of the precursors of "slap" playing. It is from this technique of playing the bass, typical for modern jazz and funky, that the musician's nickname was borrowed. For many years he gave concerts in Poland and abroad.
He has cooperated and recorded solo and in his own formations (Kciuk; Tomasz "Kciuk" Jaworski Electric Band and Tomasz "Kciuk" Jaworski Quarter). His playing and musical vision was appreciated by Czesław Niemen himself, with whom he recorded an extraordinary, dramatic version of Hendrix's Little Wing. He has cooperated with a number of the most outstanding musicians, both Polish and foreign, including Piotr Iwicki's Virtual J@zz Reality, Tomasz "Kciuk" Jaworski Electric Band, Kciuk Surzyn Band.
