KayCyy
The Kenyan-American rapper KayCyy has beeen active since graduating high school in 2016, when he moved from Minnesota to New York City to pursue his rap career. He soon signed to Reefa's Alive Productions, where he debuted with the 2017 EP Pluman 2; he soon became a frequent contributor to other rappers' albums, being credited on releases by including Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign and Travis Scott. His big break came in 2021, when he was featured on Kanye West's infamous Donda; the contribution led to KayCyy recording a string of EPs with the French tech house producer Gesaffelstein, another frequent Kanye collaborator. KayCyy's sound is heavily influenced by his time as a Kanye protégé and futuristic rage rap in the vein of Playboi Carti.
