Katarzyna Łaska

Kasia Łaska is a vocalist known to the Warsaw audience from the Roma Musical Theatre, where she played the main role in the musical Miss Saigon (Kim), in Grease. (Frenchy), Peter Pan.. She also guest starred as Maria in West Side Story at the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław and Prisoner June in the musical Chicago at Warsaw's Comedy Theatre. Since October 2017 you can see Kasia in the musical Les Misérables staged at the Music Theatre in Łódź, where she plays the role of Fantine. Kasia lent her voice to many characters from films and animated series such as: The Little Mermaid, the Great Return of Peter Pan or The Beauty and the Beast. In Disney's Golden Globe and Oscar-winning film Frozen she sang the song Let it go. Kasia Łaska received a triple Platinum Record ZPAV for her album in Polish language version. She is also the author and composer of songs for children. For over 20 years of her artistic work, she sang, among others, in television programmes such as: Dance with the stars, Baltroczyk live and as a guest in a duet with Krzysztof Antkowiak in Twoja twarz brzmi znajomo. She has taken part in numerous TV concerts on the occasion of important events, among others: One heart, from Solidarity to freedom and the 65th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. In 2008 Kasia met Jon Lord (Deep Purple), who after the concert in Płock invited her to permanent cooperation in the Concerto For Group And Orchestra project. In 2011 in Great Britain the album Jon Lord LIVE from the concert in Bucharest, released on CD and DVD, had its premiere. Jon Lord also invited Kasia to perform the vocal part of the studio version of the album Concerto..., where she sang alongside such artists as Steve Balsamo, Joe Bonamassa, Darin Vasilev, Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Steve Morse (Deep Purple) and Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd). The recordings took place at the famous Abbey Road Studio in London. The album was released in September 2012. In 2013, the song For My Love by the author of the project SIRLI debuted on Radio Three as a proposal for the hit list.
