Jiří Korn

Jiří Korn is a Czech pop-rock singer, dancer, bassist, musical, theatre and television actor. His musical career began in the 1960s in the band Rebels and briefly in the band Olympic. His performance in 4TET is particularly critically acclaimed. However, he also worked in the František Ringo Čech Group. Equally important is his solo career, his first solo album was released in 1972 and included hits such as Yvetta and No, Maestro. His 2009 hit Miss Moscow was an international success, with the song being played on numerous radio stations across Europe. In 2024, he received the Anděl Award for his lifetime contribution to Czech music. As a dancer, he focuses mainly on tap. He also plays billiards at the level of a national champion.
