Jaroslav Svěcený
A native of Hradec Králové is one of the most important contemporary Czech violinists and distinctive personalities of Czech music scene. His solo career started during his studies at the Prague Conservatory and Academy of Performing Arts, where he studied with prof. Frantisek Pospisil and prof. Vaclav Snítil. His education was completed master classes with world famous virtuosos Nathan Milstein and Gidon Kremer.
Jaroslav Svěcený is famous popularizer of violin playing, especially its television, radio and concert performances attract audiences of all ages. Jaroslav Svěcený has recorded over 40 CDs with works of Czech and foreign authors, for which he received many gold and platinum records. Jaroslav Svěcený is also a recognized expert in the history and construction of violins. Long-term charity is an integral part of his artistic work.
More than twenty years worked or works with artists of different genres on joint projects, which considers it extremely important to promote classical music among younger generations. The most and most influential work in this area is undoubtedly Vivaldianno project, which helps create the perfect rock musician Michal Dvořák (a member of Lucie).
