Janusz Prusinowski Kompania, musicians and dancers fascinated with village tradition. After years of playing with friends at the doorstep, being apprenticed to village music masters, going through musical adventures worldwide and even theatre and music schools experiences... they perform now together as 5-people Kompania - mainly for dance. The way they play... skirts are flying above the chimneys while shoes get worn extremely quickly. This music madness proves highly contagious, as Prusinowski Kompania is effectively spreading the love for mazurkas, polkas, wiwats and all other Polish twisters from Vietnam to California. Only in 2013 they spent a full month in USA, and having seduced American audience with mazurek, they reached for Germany, France, Benelux, Great Britain, Croatia and a couple of other countries, everywhere leaving dedicated lovers of wild Polish melodies behind, while promoting their new album, named - and putting the listener - "Knee-deep in Heaven”. 2014 was a year of exploring this musical heaven through various international and local activities, especially related to Oskar Kolberg’s year.
