Jan Gałach

A graduate of the State Music School K. Szymanowski in Katowice. At the age of 7, he began studying at a music school. At the age of 15, he began attending blues workshops organized at the Leśniczówka club. A multi-instrumentalist playing primarily on the violin, but also cajon or guitar. Composer and arranger. He can boast about cooperation with some prominent figures and groups in Poland, such as: Dżem, Martyna Jakubowicz, 4 Szmery, Leszek Winder, Jak Kyks Skrzek, Śląska Grupa Bluesowa, Maciej Balcar, Sebastian Riedel as well as Kasa Chorych. Galach has an intriguing talent of engaging the characteristic blues music environment as the fundamental rock-folk impromptu. The definition of blues in terms of a violinist is quite incomplete considering the characteristic tone and timbre assigned to Gałach. For many years he has been regarded as the best young electric violinist in the Polish Blues, receiving the title of the best miniistrumentalist from the Twój Blues magazine several times in a row.
