Jakub Šimanský
Jakub Šimanský is a Czech guitarist. He is musically inspired by so-called American primitivism, which has its roots both in the bluegrass tradition of the American South and in Asian music, and enriches it with Czech country/folk romanticism. Among other things, it is characterized by an unconventional approach to tuning, rhythm and repetitive elements. He made his solo debut in 2016 with Face to Face Against American Primitivism in Eastern Europe Vol. 1 released on Stoned to Death Records.
Among other things, he is one half of the guitar duo Niesner & Šimanský.
