Über Jacek Kita
Jacek Kita is a composer, pianist and arranger. He is a co-founder of the Levita jazz trio, a two-time winner of the Jazz Juniors Festival. He recorded albums with the trio: Levity (Lado ABC 2009), Chopin Shuffle (Universal Music Group, 2010), Afternoon Delights (Lado ABC 2011). He graduated from the composition department of the Academy of Music in Cracow in the class of Krzysztof Penderecki. He is a solo laureate of the Jazz on the Oder prize. Composer of music for the performance Nigdy nie otwierać okna with lyrics by Rafał Wojaczek (Fama 2005), music manager of the concerts Odloty and Reinkarnacje wg Cichowskiego, presented at the Stars Festival in Gdańsk and the Student Song Festival in Kraków. Author of the arrangement and music manager of the musical Bagdad Café (dir. Krystyna Janda). He cooperates with Jerzy Satanowski, Jan Smoczyński, Paweł Kaczmarczyk, Filip Sojka, Katarzyna Groniec, Grzech Piotrowski, Mariusz Lubomski and Piotr Rogucki.
