Jacek Hałas
Jacek Hałas is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, a musician (accordion, crank lyre, shepherd's flute, drumla, piano), singer, dancer, actor, composer, restless spirit. He is a co-creator of numerous musical formations (Noise Band, Reportage, Brotherhood of the Poor, Ket Jo Barat, Musicians, Lautari, Rural Quartet, Schola Węgajty), he has participated in many international art, theater and film projects (with A3Teatr, Strefa Ciszy Theatre, Cinema Theatre, Dom Tikkun, Azaran, Xięga, Vandrelyst, Nomdzi Kultury). He founded the Poznan Dance House and the Szczecin Dance House. He is involved in the traditions of itinerant singers, parade and spinning dance, traditional music of Eastern Europe, workshops and educational activities. He creates music for theater and film.
