The Izotop band was established in Poznań in spring 1997. In 1998, the band performed at the 4th Przystanek Woodstock Festival in Żary, and in the same year the band debuted with the song "King of Kier_" on TVP 1 Twoja charts. The band consists of musicians who were the founders and members of many bands from the 70s. The band consists of Henryk Tomczak - bass, Andrzej Łysów - guitar, Dariusz Nowicki - drums, Przemysław Łukasiewicz - vocals, guitar.
