Infected
"Hoški" aka Infected is a founding member and promoter of the BrokenBase crew. He got into drum and bass around the year 2000, when he happened to be at the performance of the legendary Bad Company. Staying in the Czech Republic, in the UK and visiting all possible legendary parties and names tied him to this style for good. Since he didn't get dark drum and bass in those days in the East, he decided to fill this gap himself.
In 2008, he organized the first party under the name Brainwash, then started a series of events under the name Broken Minds, which lived to 39 sequels. A year later, he joined the BrokenBase crew as one of the founding members. In 2015, together with the crew, he starts the club night BrokenBase XL, which gradually developed into the most successful drum and bass event in eastern Slovakia.
Its placement among the events in the CZ/SK DNB Awards poll is also worth mentioning. According to the motto, "if you don't make it yourself, you don't own it", he managed to reach and support names like Audio, Counterstrike, Current Value, Ed Rush, Emperor, Forbidden Society, Hallucinator, Katharsys, Maztek, Mefjus, Limewax, Phace , Pythius, Sinister Souls, Zardonic, Zombie Cats and many more. In his sets, he mainly prefers a combination of neurofunk, technoid and hard drum and bass, but he does not disdain any offshoot of drum and bass during occasional experiments.
