The latest album of Houpací koně called “Kde jste mý přátelé dneska v noci” (Where are you my friends tonight) released towards the end of last year. ough few expected it, Houpací koně have gracefully lived up to the majestic shadows of their previous record Everest and have, yet again, come a little bit closer to perfection in their civil folk singing style. The guys kind of play as if they were still young, which is hardly surprising in case of a band that can create a musical genre out of their hometown.

The upcoming generation of local bands that bet their money on indie rock songs, Czech texts, a distinctive atmosphere and civility. Role have been making their indie sound heard since 2013, making a definitive breakthrough into the limelight last year with their album Rána and live concerts that are becoming more and more popular. “Role give us the perfect example of what modern Czech pop should be.
