Hidel Eye
Hidel Eye is the project of Ilya Pastuhov, a bassist and guitarist also associated with the bands Long Time No Talk and Graphotype. Compared by Alt77 to Black Midi, with whom it shares a contradictious inclination towards jazz fusion and an instantly recognizable voice – although with Hidel Eye there's fewer experimental excursions and more catchy melodic lines along the lines of classic indie rock. The project's self-titled debut album was released in 2022.
