Heima + Lunatycy Martwej Dyskoteki

Heima is a Lodz-based band formed in late 2017 on the initiative of Olga Stolarek - vocalist and songwriter. The character of the songs is shaped by her engaging vocals combined with atmospheric guitar parts, atmospheric sound of trumpet and piano and original rhythmic layer. Styles of playing and musical inspirations of the members of the formation permeate each other and despite the huge diversity, they create a combination with an intriguing, oneiric aura. The band has given several dozen concerts, including festivals. They have performed at Soundedit, FAMA and Songwriter Lodz Festival, among others. In 2020, they became laureates of the Soundedit Spotlight award presented as part of a competition co-organized by the Soundedit Festival and Radio Łódź. The artists cooperate with Paweł Cieślak, a musician and producer from Łódź.

Lunatycy Martwej Dyskoteki is a new cold wave of Polish rock which can be heard on such radio stations as Radio Afera 98,6 FM or Radio Nowy Świat and many concert halls in Poznań. The Poznan musicians have been met with comparisons - from Brygada Kryzys, through Kult or Siekiera, to Republika. Despite initial inspirations, the band has developed its own sound. Melodious, often oriental guitars, a well-working rhythm section and the use of dissonance are the band's domain. All this is connected by the voice of the vocalist who sings about issues important for an adult, but still immature thirty-year-old. He does it with emotion. Boredom, annoyance, resignation, and mania change like a kaleidoscope. The group's founders tell us that the goal is to unwind the traumas we experience in this time of global crisis. This is how the group's performances are planned. The concerts of the Lunatycy Martwej Dyskoteki are a combination of a shamanic seance with collective therapy and happening.
