Gypsy and the Acid Queen

Gypsy and the Acid Queen will play Wrocław's Tony as part of a tour promoting his latest album Wyspy.

Gypsy and the Acid Queen is the pseudonym of Krakow-based musician Kuba Jaworski. In his music, oneiric melodies combined with a psychedelic-blues guitar sound and wrapped in a slightly mystical voice, telling a story not from this world, recreate the atmosphere of the Summer of Love. He has two albums to his credit, namely Gypsy and the Acid Queen and Dni miłości / Noce cudów; his latest release is the EP Ultrafiolet from 2021.

The tour promoting Wyspy will be the first opportunity to hear material from the new release—so far promoted by the singles Bluszcz, Dorośli na niby, Ptaki, Too Late and Róż; the setlist will also include classic hits. Jaworski will be joined by a band consisting of Nikodem Dybiński (keyboards), Jakub Wojtas (guitar), Piotr Wykurz (drums) and Krzysztof Pikuła (bass).
