Günter Heinz

Born in Zeitz, studied mathematics in Halle and music in Dresden and Berlin. His first employment was as a mathematician at the Academy of Mines at Freiberg and at the Academy of Sciences at Berlin where he graduated in 1983. Since 1987 he has worked as a freelance musician focusing mainly on contemporary compositions and improvisation.
