Grupa Kormorany

The group was founded in 2017 on the initiative of the singing bassist and composer Krzysztof Jan Markiewka and the vocalist / keyboardist Kacper Kuczyński. The musicians assumed the goal of creating a repertoire deeply rooted in the native scene of the PRL era, the first bands in our territories performing western rock'n'roll, lined with their own, unique Polish character. In their work, playing as a trio, they tried to focus on creating their own style with the rejection of guitar instruments, placing a strong emphasis on the organ sound and the intense play of the rhythm section.
