Grit Ensemble
Grit Ensemble was created in 2013 as a result of a joint initiative of students, graduates and lecturer at the Poznań Academy of Music. Together with the leader - double bass player Patryk Piłasiewicz - an interesting collective of improvisers fascinated by the music of Krzysztof Komeda was created. The band's area of interest includes Komeda's less-known compositions and their contemporary interpretations including both classical jazz ballad and mainstream forms, free jazz and even electronic experimentation.
