Goldie Boutilier
Goldie Boutilier, born Kristin Kathleen Boutilier, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, model, and DJ. She began her music career at a young age and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 20, where she was discovered by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. In 2011, she signed with Interscope Records under the stage name My Name Is Kay and released her debut EP. She later collaborated with artists such as Tiësto and Steve Aoki, and in 2013 released her debut album My Name Is Kay.
After ending her collaboration with Universal Music in 2015, she moved to Paris, where she worked as a DJ and model under the name Goldilox. In 2018, she released the independent album Very Best. In 2020, she changed her stage name to Goldie Boutilier and began releasing music inspired by alt-country and American music of the 1950s and 1960s. Her EPs Cowboy Gangster Politician (2022) and Emerald Year (2023) reflect her roots in Cape Breton Island and her experiences in Hollywood.
In 2024, she released the EP The Actress and performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
