Glyders

Glyders are a psychedelic rock band formed in 2013 in Chicago.

With their straightforward, purely analog lo-fi sound and hypnotizing guitar riffs, the minimalist rock'n'roll duo Glyders appealed to the cult label Drag City, under which they released their album Maria's Hunt (2023). The Chicago trio's long-playing debut has thus been awaited for almost a decade since 2014, when Joshua Condon and Eliza Weber co-founded the band. Finding inspiration in acid country, psych-rock repetitiveness and roadhouse blues, they make do with traditional guitar-bass-drums instrumentation on the ten tracks.
