Gevurah
The work of the Montreal black metal duo Gevurah is rooted in Jewish mysticism and ceremonial magick, making for ecstatic, sincere and theologically informed Lucifer worship (Langdon Hickman). They've been active since at least 2011, when they released their debut demo; their first full-length Hallelujah! was released on Profound Lore in 2016. Their most recent release is 2022's Gehinnom, described by the band as a journey through a physical and metaphysical desert, a realm of death and transformation.
