George Clanton
George Clanton (also known by the monikers Mirror Kisses, ESPRIT 空想, and Kid’s Garden) is an American electronic musician and singer-songwriter known for his involvement with the vaporwave music scene. He established his independent record label 100% Electronica in 2015, and in 2019 launched the first vaporwave music festival, 100% ElectroniCon.
He debuted as Kid’s Garden with his album Further in 2007 and continued to be productive through the following years. In 2023 with the album Ooh Rap I Ya as George Clanton. He has reinvented himself, although his reference point remains late 20th century pop and his favourite emotion is nostalgia – but it all has an underground vibe and the natural grace of homemade production.
