Gapochka
Katya is the leader of the Ukrainian underground indie duo Gapochka. The group went through a series of powerful and drastic transformations, including playing at the Global Battles of The Bands in London, before coming together in 2017 in their current duo form. Today the group consists of Katya Gapochka and Yevhen Yakshyn. Filled with lyrics and old-school and post-punk themes, the indie rock duo are a melting pot of genres. Since their first release, Katya and Yevhen have proven to be a powerful combination of straight guitar and exceptional vocals. Yevgeny Yakshin, guitarist, arranger and artist, is now in Ukraine and unable to leave the country due to conscription. Katya is therefore now playing an acoustic solo.
