Galeria Szyb Wilson

The Wilson Shaft Gallery is located on the site of the former mine shaft of the "Wieczorek" mine, whose history dates back to 1826. At present, this historic building is, among others, an exhibition space for the Wilson Shaft Gallery (an area of nearly 2500 m2). It consists of three rooms, the so-called Small Gallery, the Medium Gallery and the Large Gallery. The main goal of the Gallery is to promote young, courageous artists, painters, graphic designers, photographers, performers. The creators of the Monika Paca and Johann Bros Gallery, continuing to promote social art, established the Eko-Art Silesia Foundation, whose main task is to promote talented children and young people. The Wilson Shaft Gallery belongs to the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship.
