Fyah Son Bantu
Fyah Son Bantu comes from a family of musicians, born in Eldoret, Kenya, and is the youngest of six children. His lifestyle and later his work is influenced by artists such as Buju Banton, Cutty Ranks, Jah Mason, Sizzla and Luciano. His work began in 2002 - 2003 when he realized his skills and decided to play his own music by writing his first lyrics. He left his home country in 2014 and has been living and working in the Czech Republic ever since. Starting out in the Mustakillah studio, he has toured the country alongside selectors from United Forces of Dub and performed at dozens of events across Europe. In 2016, he released his debut album Hungry Days on Good Call Records, with contributions from names like Djei Gogo (Flavour production), Ucee and the French-Slovak label Batelier records, which has also worked with Medial Banana and Jamaican duo Jah Ova Evil.
