Fundacja Bęc Zmiana

The Bęc Zmiana Foundation operates in various fields, including architecture, visual arts, design and urban culture. Their main objective is to support the development of contemporary culture, scientific research on the present day and to recognize the potential of public/common space. Since 2002, they have been involved in initiating interdisciplinary activities, most of which are related to/presented in public space. They organize exhibitions, discussions, conferences, competitions for artists, architects and designers. They support scientific research on contemporary culture. The Foundation publishes the following magazines: free Notes for 6 weeks - a richly illustrated magazine presenting the most interesting events in the field of contemporary culture and the humanities quarterly Format P. It is also a publication of books on architecture and its social impact, contemporary art, graphic design, visual research and the economy of culture. Bęc Zmiana runs a bookshop in the centre of Warsaw.
