Framus Five
Framus Five is a Czech rock band whose origins can be found in 1963. However, the real history under the current name dates back to 1967, when the current guitarist Michal Prokop first joined the microphone as a singer. Their debut eponymous album was released in 1969.
The band temporarily ended its activities twice – once in 1971 and then in 1990, when leader Michal Prokop entered politics. In 2006, after the release of the album Poprvé naposledy Framus Five fully resumed their concert activities. In 2012 another album Sto roků na cestě was released, which in March 2014 was awarded Platinum album.
