Essence of Prague is a young band, whose style can be for lack of better terms be described as pop-rock. The backbone of her work consists of songs with a classic song format with no long instrumental passages. It places emphasis on strong, yet unobtrusive melodies and imaginative lyrics with frequent Czech socio-critical overlap. From other related genres of bands differ mainly unmistakable sound of electric violin, play an important role in the recent progressive keyboard parts.
