Edyta Krzemień
Edyta Krzemień is a Polish singer and actress. She graduated from the Faculty of Vocal and Acting at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She made her debut with the role of Christine in the musical Pisto in Opera at the ROMA Musical Theatre. A few years later she played Christine again at the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok. Her other roles include: Fantine (Les Misérables), Joanna (Sweeney Todd), Kala (Tarzan), Emma (Jekyll and Hyde), Sister Mary Robert (The Nun in Disguise) and Molly (Ghost). She has also appeared in the musical monodrama Winter Tales.
She collaborates with Zbigniew Preisner and has recorded songs for the album W poszukiwaniu dróg (platinum disc). She performed with and under the baton of the composer at the Klara Music Festival in Brussels, performing music from K. Kieślowski's films. She sang in a performance by Z. Preisner and E. Lipska 2016 Dokąd? at the National Music Forum in Wrocław She also performed at the 29th European Film Awards Gala. She is also involved in dubbing, being, among others, the new voice of Snow White in Disney's oldest animated film Królewna Śnieżka i Siedmiu Krasnoludków.
