Downset (usually stylized as downset.) is an American rap metal band from Los Angeles, California. Originally called Social Justice, the band's music blends influences from rap, funk, hardcore punk, and metal.
Social Justice was founded in 1989, changed their name to Downset in 1992, and was active until 2009, when the band decided to take a break. They started performing again in 2013. They released 6 albums to date – their most recent one being Maintain from 2022.
