Doomcannon
Doomcannon is a London-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, spearheading several jazz-inspired projects such as TriForce and Project Karnak. Doomcannon has been interested in flute and percussion since the age of eleven, with additional classical training on piano as a teenager. It was then that he joined the prestigious youth performance group Kinetika Bloco and the training programme, which is regarded as a rite of passage and an opportunity for talented musicians – including Theon & Nathaniel Cross, Mark Kavum, Sheila Maurice Gray. DoomCannon has met saxophonist Ahnansé and vocalist Celeste, and Jools Holland, among others, on his musical journey. In 2022, the artist presented his debut solo project Renaissance.
