DJ Lycox
DJ Lycox is a member of the Tia Maria Produções crew and one of the artists releasing on the Portuguese label Príncipe. The Paris-based DJ and producer is pushing his own brand of batida music, utilising tarraxo rhythms, fusing afro-house with trap music and also reaching towards deep house, as heard on his excellent solo debut album Sonhos & Pesadelos. His sharp eclecticism translates into lush live shows boasting hard-edged rhythms and sudden twists leading to many euphoric moments.
