The project was founded in 2006, Chris Eckman, Hugo Race and Chris Brokaw (Codeine, Come). Trinity is put together in order to find the way to their musical roots. Dirtmusic on this trip, however, unexpectedly got up right into the heart of Africa itself. The debut eponymous album of the year 2007 is still a fairly traditional collections full of blues, country and subtle americany. However, thanks to the exceptional experience, which has been in the form of performances at the famous annual parade of the Festival au Desert in Timbuktu, malijském, Dirtmusic teamed up with tuarežskou group of Tamikrest, subsequently recorded an album of BISTABLE. The vast Western collision of rock’n ' roll and blues of the desert here escalates in their own compositions as well as in the tradicionálu ain’t no Grave or in the classics All Tomorrow’s Parties, from The Velvet Underground. It is still clearly recognizable handwriting each balanced Trinity Eckman-Brokaw-Race, but the sound is still more advanced Dirtmusic to original shape.
