Deerhoof
Deerhoof is an American musical group formed in San Francisco in 1994.
Obscure San Francisco noise band Deerhoof, which Pitchfork even called “the best band in the world”, has played shows all over the world, including tours with Wilco, The Roots, Beck, The Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth and Radiohead. Noise, unbridled experimentation and Satomi Matsuzaki's vocals – Deerhoof push their own sonic boundaries with each new record. Miracle-Level (2023), their nineteenth release, is groundbreaking in many ways – it is their first ever record recorded in a professional studio, and it is also (and most importantly) their first album written entirely in Japanese, Matsuzaki’s native language. They will present the new record live on February 9th at the Smíchov factory.
