Dead Poet Society
Dead Poet Society was formed in 2013 in Boston, where its four members attended the renowned Berklee College of Music. Their musical training has been reflected in the sound of the project, which, despite its strong roots in direct rock convention, indulges in a fair amount of exploration: from Muse-style progressive formal experimentation to the use of fretless instruments to create unusual harmonies. The band consists of vocalist Jack Underkofler, guitarist Jack Collins, bass guitarist Nick Taylor and drummer Will Goodroad. Their debut EP Weapons was released in 2013; they currently have four studio releases to their credit, the most recent of which is the 2021 LP * -!-*.
