Czech Philharmonic Jazz Band
Czech Philharmonic Jazz Band was founded on the grounds of the Czech Philharmonic in the fall of 2010 on the initiative of several world-renowned musicians of the symphony orchestra. The reason of this ensemble was the desire to express the interpretational jazz music and relax while the so-called classical music. The file is intentionally diminish various alternative routes, but comes from a rich jazz melodies and themes. Stylistically it is not aimed at any particular period as draws inspiration from the entire spectrum of jazz music. A major contribution of this file is the culture tone, precise intonation and a sense of dynamics. The basic cast of this variable group consists of four players on wind instruments, together with the rhythm section. Besides the Czech Philharmonic members are constantly playing and musicians from purely jazz world who completes the portrait of this unique band.
