Crime & The City Solution
A band, or rather a collective of musicians who hail from Australia, the UK and Germany. Critics describe their musical offerings as alternative and post-punk. The musicians themselves, if they must, admit to being inspired by The Doors and The Birthday Party, whose members played in Simon Bonney's band (it was on his initiative that Crime & The City Solution was formed). The band, active since 1977, has gone through many ups, downs, twists, line-up changes and suspensions. Having resumed activity, the group is now recording and touring.
