Cool Kids of Death

Called by many sources as one of the most important Polish bands of the first decade of the 21st century, in whose music punk, electro, new wave and the neo-guitar revolution of the beginning of the century interact. The group debuted in 2001 with two EPs Cool Kids Of Death and CKOD 2 and the single Uważaj. Even then it was hailed as "the most rebellious band of the younger generation." This was confirmed by Cool Kids Of Death – one of the most important Polish albums of the first decade of the 21st century, which brought music combining the aesthetics of punk rock and new romantic with the neo-guitar revolution of the early century and post-punk. The band's debut was nominated for a Fryderyk award, the animated music video for Uważaj won an award at the Yach Film Festival, the readers of Tylko Rock named Cool Kids of Death the greatest hope. The album also won in the summary of the radio show Triple Express and won an award in Przekrój.
