Caroline is an English rock band formed in London in 2017.
The band consists of Casper Hughes, Jasper Llewellyn, Mike O’Malley, Oliver Hamilton, Magdalena McLean, Freddy Wordsworth, Alex McKenzie, and Hugh Aynsley.
In 2022 they released their eponymous debut caroline, followed by caroline 2 in 2025. Returning with caroline 2, the eight-piece collective embrace a bolder, more expansive sound. Going beyond their debut's explorations of repetition and space, the new album pushes further into dynamic contrasts — organic and electronic, raw and refined. Launched with the single Tell me I never knew that, featuring Caroline Polachek’s vocals, caroline 2 showcases a fearless interplay of layered instrumentation, warped vocal processing, and moments of both euphoria and melancholy.
