Calvin Love

Calvin Love is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. He has been involved in music since adolescence and, prior to launching his solo career, performed in various bands, including during a period when he lived and performed in Los Angeles. His work is commonly associated with alternative pop, indie rock, and lo-fi aesthetics.

He began his solo career with the release of his debut album New Radar in 2012 through Autumn Tone Records. After a period of touring, he released his second studio album Super Future in 2015 via Arts & Crafts. In the following years, he continued producing solo work, releasing the EP Ecdysis (2017) and the album Highway Dancer (2018), which drew on material written during his travels and concert activities. In 2020, he released the album Night Songs, followed by Lavender in 2021. The album was written, recorded, and produced by Love himself and was created in various locations across Canada and the United States during periods of travel and pandemic-related restrictions. In 2025, the single Underneath It All was released, continuing his ongoing studio output.
