Burma Jones
Burma Jones was formed in the summer of 1990. Already its first demos won the Golden Ambrose 91. After less than a year of performing on club stages all over the country, the publishing company Popron, which at that time represented the top of pop music in Czechoslovakia, showed interest in the group. In 1993 Burma Jones released two albums Evrybody`s dancing and Rimska 2 with hits Samba v kapkách deště, Potkame se v nebi,Cesta je dlouhá etc. This venture was a success with both critics and the general public. As a result, Burma Jones won the Grammy 92 award for Discovery of the Year 1992 and singer Bohouš Josef was nominated for Singer of the Year 1992.
