Dorota Masłowska's latest stage work, commissioned by Teatr Studio, is a multidimensional tale about 1970s Warsaw shaken by the rumour of a strangler on the prowl. This crime story becomes a lens for the secrets and traumas of the city's women; but also a gateway to exploring the a fantastical and baroque portrait of the atomic era, full of mundane incidents, violence and dreams. This socialist Polish landscape, infused with the author’s inimitable and lively language, will be one day visited by none other than David Bowie himself.
