Bols/Slob
Bols/Slob is a Czech producer venturing into the European avant-garde pop scene, inspired by (post)club scene, pop, industrial and PC music and influenced by artists like Iglooghost, Sophie, Death grips, Sega Bodega etc. Sonic storytelling of Bols/Slob merges catchy tunes and uncompromising club sound design. He engages the entire sound palette and energetically alternates genres, rhythms while combining rap and vocal effects. Assembling shards of trap, glitch, ambient and harder sounds Bols/Slob creates a very authentic mosaic of personal statements.
He released his debut album Esoteric Garden on Berlin's progressive club music label SoulFeeder. In this intimate body of work, Bols/Slob turns the very act of writing music and shaping sounds into a safe space for him to reminisce and reflect on his past experiences. Each track is in fact connected to a specific memory of his. And while he moves through these different moments of his life, the listener is invited to walk alongside him through this fluid, shapeshifting sonic space.
