Bez i Nadzieja z Orkiestrą
Bez i Nadzieja is a folk project by Warsaw-based artists Agnieszka Kocińska and Kasia Kalinowska, who write unconventional songs that they describe as drenched in the murmur of a dark lake, the smell of lilacs in bloom, the sound of a dog barking and the cracking of glass. Since 2022, they have performed with a small brass band, for which the songs of Bez i Nadzieja have been arranged by Maciek Pepłoński – a multi-instrumentalist and outsider of the new alternative scene, known, among others, for his band Hage-O. The brass section, drawn from the Warsaw-Lublin Brass Orchestra, features Jędrzej Weber (tuba, alto saxhorn), Mikołaj Janowski (trumpet) and Barbara Wajnchold (tenor saxhorn), with Filip Rak on drums.
